Concor Reports 6% throughput in June Quarter

Container Corporation of India Ltd. (Concor) has announced a notable 6% increase in throughput for the June quarter of 2024 compared to the same period last year. The provisional data reveals that Concor handled a total of 11,59,251 Twenty Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs), marking a substantial rise from 10,93,610 TEUs in the corresponding quarter of 2023.

The breakdown of throughput shows significant growth in both EXIM (Export-Import) and DOM (Domestic) sectors. EXIM volumes reached 8,69,464 TEUs, up by 3.30% from 8,41,690 TEUs last year, indicating steady international trade activity facilitated by Concor's logistics services.

Meanwhile, the DOM segment saw a more pronounced increase, with volumes totaling 2,89,787 TEUs, reflecting a robust growth of 15.03% from 2,51,920 TEUs previously.

This performance underscores Concor's effective management of logistics operations amid evolving market conditions. The company's ability to enhance throughput across both international and domestic sectors highlights its pivotal role in facilitating trade and commerce, contributing to India's logistics infrastructure development.
