Garment Mantra Lifestyles Q1 Results Net Profit of ₹36.35 Lakhs

Garment Mantra Lifestyle has released its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024. The company reported a total income of ₹2,546.69 lakhs for this quarter. This is an increase compared to the ₹1,865.56 lakhs recorded in the same quarter of the previous year. However, the income is lower than the ₹4,164.00 lakhs for the last quarter of the previous financial year.

The Garment Mantra Lifestyle's total expenses for this quarter were ₹2,497.57 lakhs, up from ₹1,836.25 lakhs in the same quarter last year. The increase in expenses was mainly due to higher costs of materials consumed and other operating costs. Despite the rise in expenses, the company managed to achieve a profit before tax of ₹49.12 lakhs for this quarter. This is higher than the ₹29.31 lakh profit reported in the same quarter last year.

After accounting for tax expenses, Garment Mantra reported a net profit of ₹36.35 lakhs. This is an improvement over the ₹21.69 lakhs net profit from the same quarter last year. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for this quarter were ₹0.04, compared to ₹0.02 in the previous year.
