HFCL Limited, a leading Indian technology firm specializing in telecom equipment and optical fiber cables, has been granted an exemption from anti-dumping duties by the European Commission. This landmark decision distinguishes HFCL as the sole Indian optical fiber cable manufacturer not found to engage in dumping practices in European markets.

The European Commission's ruling follows a rigorous six-month investigation initiated in response to a complaint filed by Europacable on behalf of the European optical fiber cable industry. The investigation scrutinized various aspects of Indian optical fiber cable manufacturers, including their product pricing, sales practices, and financial data.

HFCL emerged from the investigation without any findings of dumping, contrasting with other Indian manufacturers who now face provisional anti-dumping duties. This decision underscores HFCL's commitment to transparency and fair business practices in its operations.
