Inox Wind Limited, a leading wind energy solutions provider in India, has announced the incorporation of a wholly-owned subsidiary called Pokhran Wind Energy Private Limited. The new SPV (special purpose vehicle) has been set up to develop wind farms across the country.

Pokhran Wind Energy has been incorporated with an authorized and paid-up capital of Rs 1 lakh. In its subsidiary, Inox Wind will make an initial subscription of Rs 1 lakh, divided into 10,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each.

The subsidiary has been registered with the Registrar of Companies in Gujarat and is yet to commence business operations. It will operate in the wind power industry.Inox Wind is a fully integrated wind energy company, with four manufacturing plants and an annual capacity of over 2 GW.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 37.67 crore in Q4 FY24, compared to a net loss of Rs 115.51 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 527.73 crore in Q4 FY24, significantly higher than Rs 190.75 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The incorporation of Pokhran Wind Energy is in line with Inox Wind's strategy to expand its wind farm development business and capitalize on the growing demand for renewable energy in India.
