Coal India Q4 Results Highlights

Coal India reported its Q4 results for the financial year 2024:

There was a 26% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching ₹8,682 crore.

Despite the rise in net profit, revenue from operations dipped by 2% to ₹37,410.39 crore.

A final dividend of ₹5 per share was announced for the financial year.

When compared to the previous quarter, the net profit was down by 14% from ₹10,130 crore.

The consolidated sales also saw a decrease of 1.8% to ₹39,654.4 crore in the January-March period.

There was a positive sign on the production front, with coal output rising by 7.8% to 241.75 million metric tons.

Coal supplies to consumers also increased by 8% to 201.6 MT in Q4.
