UPl is a global agricultural product with annual revenue 6 billion $. The company is working towards sustainable agriculture offering post-harvest plans and improved working towards integrating portfolios with the food value chain and seeds.
The company is operating in 130 countries. The company is also giving solutions to biologicals and traditional crop protection. The company has 14,000 registrations for solutions to traditional crop protection.
UPL Q4 Results
UPL released its Q4 Report on May 13th, 2024. In its Q4 press release the company had done well with overall revenue for Q4 FY 24 is 14,078 Cr Rs which is 15% decrease when compared with the previous Quarter of the same year.
This decrease is due to Post patent market prices which led to short fall in revenue but the company volume-wise trade is equal to last year the company stated in its report. The company CEO Mike Frank commenting on the report said that improved financial results in Q4 versus the two preceding quarters show strong fundamentals even after volatile market prices.
he also said the company's recent launches like Evolution, Feroce and Shenzi have done fairly well. Advanta the global seed platform of the company also did well and the company expects better AGChem markets to return to normalcy.
